How to Send Multiple Faxes

SENDING MULTIPLE DOCUMENTS THROUGH FAX

From the patient dashboard, select the fax icon beside a document you want to send out.

This will open the fax screen. You have the option to select multiple documents when you send the fax.

How to utilize this page:
1. Select recipient
2. Review or edit the recipient name.
3. Review or edit the recipient number. (Note: For physician and connections with fax numbers saved in your In Touch EMR database, this field autopopulates.)
4. Select multiple documents by clicking on the dropdown.
5. Allows you to attach a file from the uploaded files on the patient chart
6. allows you to attach a plan of care by choosing from the list of plan of care on the patient’s chart
7. Allows you to attach a flowsheet by choosing from a list of flowsheets on the patient’s chart
8. Allows you to attach a flowsheet preview by choosing from a list of flowsheets preview on the patient’s chart
9. Choose to send a cover sheet: yes or no. If yes, enter your cover sheet message.

10. Clicking the dropdown for completed document allows you to select all the documents you want to fax.

11. Select Send Fax to start transmission.

A checkmark will appear beside the fax icon for the documents you sent. The time stamp will show at the bottom of the icon.

SENDING FAX TO MULTIPLE RECIPIENTS

User can now fax documents to multiple recipients.

From the patient dashboard, select the fax icon beside a document you want to send out.

This will open the fax screen. Click on ‘Assign Multiple Source’ tab

The ‘Assign Referral Source and Fax Number’ screen pop up would appear.

You will be brought back to the Fax screen page which will now show the selected recipient from the referral source and fax number list. Click ‘SEND FAX’ to complete the process.
